This policy applies to paid subscriptions to any of the applications and services developed by Steven Gill, including SG-PlannerSync, SG-Wayfinder and SG-Health.
Ask within 14 days and you get your money back. No questions, no form, no explaining yourself.
After that we don't refund part-months, but you can cancel any time and you keep everything you have paid for until the period ends.
Every app has a genuinely free tier — no time limit, not a trial. You can do real work and use it properly before spending anything. If you have paid and it turns out not to suit you, that is a reasonable thing to have got wrong, and we would rather refund you than have you feel stuck.
Within 14 days of a payment, get in touch through our support page and we will refund it in full. You do not need to give a reason.
After 14 days, we do not refund the current period. Cancel whenever you like — from your account settings — and you will keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for, then drop back to the free tier. We do not pro-rate.
We may refund outside that window anyway if something went wrong at our end: an outage that made the app unusable for a meaningful stretch, a charge that shouldn't have happened, or a bug that lost you work. Ask, and explain what happened.
Annual plans, if we ever offer them, will carry the same 14-day window.
Where a plan is metered on usage, it bills on the highest usage you reached at any point in the month. In Wayfinder, for example, if you add a building and remove it a fortnight later, that month is still billed at the higher number, and the next month is not.
This is how the underlying metering works, we say so in the app before you cross the line, and it is not by itself a reason for a refund. If it caught you out anyway, tell us — we would rather fix the wording than argue about a few pounds.
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, who are the merchant of record. Refunds go back to the card or account you paid with, through them. That normally takes 5–10 business days depending on your bank, which is outside our control.
You can also raise a refund directly with Lemon Squeezy. Either route works.
If something is wrong, talk to us first. A chargeback costs us a fee on top of the refund, and takes weeks to resolve for you. We have never refused a refund inside 14 days and don't intend to start.
